Girls Golf: June 3, 2010
Mentor High Girls Basketball Team- The Lady Cardinal Booster Club is having its first annual golf outing (scramble format) on July 10th at 2:00 at Lost Nation Country Club. Entrance fee is $90.00 per golfer ($360.00 per foursome) and includes lunch, dinner, unlimited range balls, 18 holes of golf, prizes. Boys Lacrosse: May 27, 2010
The Mentor Middle School Lacrosse Club is holding it's annual Open House at Mentor High - Jerome T Osborne Jr. Stadium, on Saturday, May 29th from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Boys and Girls entering 5th through 8th grade next fall are invited to see lacrosse demonstrations by high school and middle school athletes and then will be invited onto the field to give it a try themselves! We'll provide a stick and some basic instruction. We will have information about summer programs and details about how to get involved in lacrosse for the summer or next spring. There will be a meeting for any girl interested in playing tennis for Mentor High School next fall on Thursday June 3 at 6pm in C lecture of Mentor High School. Dance Team tryouts are on May 25th in A-lecture starting at 3:00. There is an informational meeting on May 24th at 2:45 for all who are interested, followed by a choreography session until 5:00. This is when tryout material will be taught. The dance team is going to be a year long activity since the girls will have practices and various performances throughout the year . They will have their main show in the spring and perform at the spring pep assembly.
