9th Grade Vision and Hearing Screenings
The state of Ohio requires vision and hearing screenings for all 9th grade students. Your child will be called to the clinic some time from now until June for these screenings. If you have any questions you may call the clinic at 974-5340.
Mentor High school 08-09 PTSA Meetings

Tues 1/6/09 Mentor 74 Bedford 59 Cole Krizancic hit 9 3 point baskets to break Joe Meyer's school record of 7 to lead Mentor to victory. Cole scored a career best 32 points
Girls Basketball
The Lady Cards defeated Shaker Heights in a close LEL match 48-47. Kelsey Berger led the Cards with 17 points. Come see the Cards play Wednesday the 14th at home as they take on Shaw at 7:30!
Hockey
Congratulations to the Cardinal Hockey team for improving their division record to 4-0 by defeating Holy Name 3-2. Great Job guys.
Come support the Cardinals Hockey team Friday Jan. 9 as they take on division opponent Normandy. and Sunday versus Walsh Jesuit.
Baseball Reverse Raffle
The Mentor High School Baseball Baseline Club is sponsoring a Reverse Raffle on January 24, 2009 at 6 PM at the Lamalfa Party Center. This is the main source of revenue for the team and is a great night out for all who attend. The cost is $100.00 per couple or $75 00 per single, which includes La Malfas outstanding buffet, a main board ticket with a $2000.00 prize, and open bar. There will also be many door prizes as well as a Chinese auction. Dinner only tickets (no main board), can also be purchased for $50.00. Anyone seeking tickets or who would like to donate an item for the auction are encouraged to call Ed Dayok , Baseline Vice President, at 974-7931.
Gymnastics
Congratulations to the Girls Gymnastics team who defeated South, Perry, and Lake Catholic in a meet on Saturday. Special Congratulations to freshman Kayla Kosmeri for winning the All-Around Championship with an overall score of 36.20.
Swimming
Congratulations to both the Boys and Girls Swimming and Diving teams for remaining undefeated after two thrilling wins against Chagrin Falls good luck this Friday at Euclid!
